Kitengela Minimalist House – UB 05
Introduction
This was a small house done in about 70 days after fencing on a parcel in Kitengela.
It has two small bedrooms sharing a bathroom, a tiny sitting room with large windows and a Kitchenette. It is ideal for a starter family.
Even though it is tiny, it fulfills all the duties of a building or what John Ruskin calls the Virtues of Architecture.
Just like the duties of man:
- That it Acts well.
- That it Speaks well.
- That it Looks well.

House Features and Advantages
- Roofing – This tiles are from Eco Tiles Limited which make roofing tiles from recycled plastic waste. They are beautiful and water is drinkeable.
- Quoins – To enhance the beauty of the house, the corner stones have been left standing out in a rustic manner. The quoins help define the house better
- Maximum use of space – The house does not have any excessive spaces within it.
- Lounge with large window.
- Entrance Pergola and Transition. -This is a common feature of most houses we have built. It allows for a welcome transition into the house. Also provides an extension to the sitting room and verandah for relaxation. This enhances the quality of family life.
